Sale Announcement | Syrie Maugham: A Family Collection | 28 October 2025

On Tuesday 28 October, Dreweatts is delighted to present the collection of interior designer Syrie Maugham, and her descendants, in the auction Syrie Maugham: A Family Collection. Widely regarded as a pioneer who redefined 20th century interiors, Syrie Maugham (1879–1955) championed chic sophistication over ostentatious opulence, crafting spaces of understated glamour that continue to inspire generations of designers, artists, and tastemakers across the worlds of design, fashion, and culture. This auction represents the largest offering from Maugham’s personal collection ever to come to market, presenting collectors with a rare opportunity to acquire pieces deeply connected to her iconic aesthetic and remarkable career.
