Miranda Lance's Top Picks | Fine Silver and The Art of Dining | Tuesday 23 September 2025

Coming up on Tuesday 23 September, we have our auction Fine Silver and The Art of Dining. The sale combines old and new, offering everything you need to create that perfect table setting, from modern luxury, mixing wonderful porcelain dinner services from Herend, Hermès, Rosenthal, Richard Ginori and Meissen with luxury brand glass from Baccarat and St Louis, to traditional period and 20th century silverware, including a number of private collections.

For this auction, we are delighted to have collaborated with Miranda Lance, founder of Maison Fête et Cie, a creative studio offering both a curated collection of antiques, as well as specialising in event and photography styling. Miranda believes that entertaining should feel warm, meaningful and timeless. As such she has spent her career mastering the art of table setting, blending the beauty of antique pieces with the vibrancy of contemporary life. Through Maison Fête, she helps others create tables that tell a story-whether for an intimate dinner at home or a grand celebration.

Here, Miranda takes a look at the auction, choosing a few of her favourite pieces, whilst also offering her advice on how best to utilise them.
