History Meets Style | Collaboration with Nina Campbell for the Auction of Weston Hall and the Sitwells
On 16 & 17 November, we have our auction 'Weston Hall and the Sitwells: A Family Legacy'. Dreweatts is thrilled to announce a special collaboration for the sale, with one of the world’s most esteemed British interior designers, Nina Campbell. Nina is known for her unequivocal sense of elegance and style and her broad-ranging appeal, which comes from the ability to effortlessly pair the traditional with contemporary, to offer a timeless result.
Nina will combine decorative items and highlights from Weston Hall, with fabrics and furniture from her own interiors collection, to create room sets that reflect her unique design philosophy, alongside the key themes of the Sitwell family’s spectacular private collection, spanning more than 300 years of British history.
There will be two opportunities for the public to see this mini exhibition. One will take place at Dreweatts London from 28 September - 1 October 2021. The second will go on view at Dreweatts Newbury from 10-15 November 2021. Both are open to the public and welcome to visitors.
Speaking about the collaboration, Nina Campbell said, “I am delighted to have been invited to collaborate on the sale of the Sitwell collection. It is a fascinating insight into a long and interesting family history, and a huge privilege to be a part of preparing these pieces for their next adventure.”
